Studio management, black belt grade

Run the dojo.
Not the admin.

Sudobu holds the whole studio — timetables, memberships, billing, attendance, and belt progression — so you can spend the evening on the mat instead of the spreadsheet.

  • No card to start
  • Roster import included
  • Live in an afternoon

Built for the mat

One system, whatever hangs on your wall — from a single-room academy to a multi-site club with fifty coaches.

  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
  • Karate
  • Taekwondo
  • Muay Thai
  • Boxing
  • Judo
  • Kickboxing
  • Wing Chun
  • Krav Maga
  • Capoeira
  • Aikido
  • MMA

The platform

Six systems most studios
stitch together. One here.

Every piece talks to the others, so a booking becomes attendance, attendance becomes progress, and progress becomes the reason someone renews.

01

Timetable that holds up

Recurring classes, class types, capacity caps, coach assignment, and cancellations — published once and visible everywhere your members look.

  • Recurring & one-off classes
  • Waitlists and capacity
  • Coach and room assignment
02

Students & guardians

One family, one record. Guardians manage several children, and the roster stays clean because Sudobu de-duplicates people as they sign up.

03

Memberships & credits

Monthly plans, class packs, and credit bundles that top up on schedule. Suspensions and pro-rating are handled, not improvised.

04

Billing without chasing

Automatic invoicing, card-on-file collection, retries, coupons, and dispute handling — with a running picture of what the studio actually earned.

05

Retail at the desk

Gis, gloves, tape, and grading fees sold from the same screen, on the same invoice, against the same member.

06

Staff & permissions

Front desk, head coach, and owner each see exactly what they should. Multi-site studios switch between locations in a click.

Not sure which of these you need?

Start with the timetable and the roster. Everything else switches on when the studio is ready for it.

Attendance & grading

Belts are earned
on the mat.
Counted here.

Every session a student attends rolls straight into their grading record. Coaches see who is ready, guardians see how close their child is, and nobody has to reconstruct six months of attendance the night before a belt test.

Two sides, one system

Everyone gets the view
they actually need.

For the studio

The desk, the office, and the mat

Owners, front desk, and coaches share one dashboard. Take a booking, settle an invoice, add a student, mark a class present — without leaving the screen you were already on.

  • Roster, memberships, and invoices in one record
  • Mark attendance for a whole class in seconds
  • Coupons, packages, retail, and refunds
  • Multi-site studios with per-location access

For members & guardians

A studio that fits in a pocket

Students and parents book classes, check the timetable, follow belt progress, and pay — in an app that looks like it belongs to your academy, not to a software vendor.

  • Book and cancel classes from the phone
  • Belt progress and session counts, live
  • Guardians manage every child in one login
  • Cards on file, receipts, and plan changes

Getting started

Live in three moves —
usually one afternoon.

  1. 01

    Bring your roster

Send the spreadsheet you already keep. Students, guardians, memberships, and remaining credits come across intact.

  2. 02

    Publish the timetable

Set your class types, recurring sessions, capacities, and coaches. Members see it the moment you publish.

  3. 03

    Turn on payments

Connect billing, pick your plans and packages, and let invoices, retries, and receipts run themselves.

Questions

Before you
switch systems.

Anything else — write to us at admin@sudobu.com and a human answers.

01Can we move our existing members across?

Yes. Send us the roster you already have — a spreadsheet export from your current system is fine — and we import students, guardians, memberships, and remaining class credits before you go live. Nobody has to re-register.

02Do parents and students need a separate app?

They use the Sudobu member app on iOS and Android. A guardian signs in once and manages every child on the account: bookings, belt progress, payments, and receipts all sit under the same login.

03How does billing work?

Sudobu issues invoices and collects from cards on file on the schedule you set — monthly memberships, class packs, credit top-ups, grading fees, and retail. Failed payments retry automatically, and disputes are tracked in the dashboard rather than in your inbox.

04We run more than one location. Does that work?

It does. Each location keeps its own timetable, coaches, and roster, while owners see the whole club. Staff permissions are set per location, so a front-desk login at one site cannot see another site’s finances.

05What does it cost to try?

Starting is free and no card is required. You can build your timetable, import your roster, and walk through a full week of classes before deciding whether to take payments through Sudobu.

06Who owns the studio’s data?

You do. Your member records, attendance history, and financial records remain yours, and you can request a full export at any time by writing to admin@sudobu.com.
